About Us

Railbirds Gaming Products is a Singapore-based business founded by by Victor (LLB.Hons) Alfred Tan (Diploma in Building & Construction) and Joel Tan (Diploma in Electrical Engineering), all avid aficionados of the game of poker. Our vision in creating this business was in part to promote the game of poker in Singapore and Asia, as well as to enhance the overall entertainment value of poker for those who love the game. Early on, we realized more often than not, that poker was being played on someone’s dining table, “Mahjong” table, or some other table that was found lying around. The sound of clattering chips and surfaces which did not allow cards to slide properly quickly frustrated an otherwise fun poker night.

We also realized the difficulty in finding high-end custom poker tables at an affordable price in this part of the world, and have since set out to make our own. Making our own tables instead of importing them from America not only reduces costs dramatically, but also enables us to respond quicker to customer service requests.

We decided that it was an appropriate title to have, given that we too wanted in on the action, that action being created by a huge wave of poker fever sweeping across Singapore, Asia and indeed around the world.
